Hey Loved Ones, can you believe the Holiday Season is now upon us?
This time of year has always been my favorite. I love spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family. I love getting a holiday tree for our house, finding special gifts for my friends and loved ones, and I love seeing the decorations spring to life all around the city.
I can't help it, the holiday season brings out the Midwest kid in me everytime....:)
That said, I'm super excited about the next round of shows we have coming up for you:
November 21st, I'll be doing an acoustic set with my friend, guitarist, Sean McGowan for a special, one night only, set at TeaLee's Teahouse which is one of the remaining black-owned businesses located in the historic Five Points neighborhood in Denver. Friday, November 22nd, I'll be joining the stage with an incredible array of Denver's all-female, top vocalists (Mary Louise Lee, JoFoke & Stephanie Hancock) for a 'Sisters Who Swing' concert at the People's Building in Aurora. This event is hosted by the ladies of 5280 Artist Coop, so I'm excited to be working with them again. GET TIX HERE
November 30th, I've been invited to sing as part of a background trio (incl. myself, Sydney Harper and Randy Chalmers) along with the Colorado Symphony for their Tribute to Aretha concert, featuring Capathia Jenkins and Ryan Shaw. I'm soo excited about going back to the Symphony, and can't wait to be part of this amazing concert! GET TIX HERE
In addition to our full November calendar, this featured holiday show on December 19th is going to be a 'soulful jazz holiday' at The Vintage. I, along with my band, can't wait to share this special night with you!
